Meaningful Minutes

Time. What is it, you ask? It is the indefinite continued progress of existence and events in the past, present and future regarded as a whole. Boom.

As an adult, in accordance with the way I live my life, I can always find time for what needs doing or what I want to do. This of course goes against the daily feeling I have (‘there’s never enough time!’) so it’s definitely not easy. Each day carries that rush-rush-rush seed and I can rarely shake it.

Why is this? Is my life really that busy? Or am I misappropriating what I do with said time?

Parallel it to money for a sec. What one earns right now isn’t quite or is barely enough. What if you doubled or tripled their income, would that be enough? Probably not, because the more they’ll have, the more they’ll spend and it’ll just repeat itself, only this time on a larger scale. So what if we could request a 30 hour day from now on? Would those extra 360 minutes make all the difference they need? Probably not, because if they’re mismanaging their time before, they’ll continue to even with some extra.

Where was I going with this?

I realize there is no end to it and maybe that helps, as opposed to a person thinking if I can just get through this week then I can rest more. Take it as it comes, complete it and move to the next.

I’m not going to remind you to sniff the lilies and enjoy life more instead of rushing through it til the next mountain arrives. I may be a well known writer, loved by millions around the galaxy, but I refuse to pile the cheese on. I just want to rant alongside you and offer up some sensibilities to possibly make each day a little less brutal.

I like my nights better than my days and I’m assuming you all do too. Being around those you love and generally chillin, as opposed to being trapped in a 9 to 5 with people you barely tolerate. No brainer.

Anyway, go. Get! Stop reading these profound insights and go apply them to yourself and those that need it most. Get!
