It could be stated that if something in your life isn’t working then you should simply change it. Yet why do we seem to prefer doing the same thing repeatedly and expect different results? There is zero logic in it.

But then there is zero logic in this ongoing pandemic and everything associated with it. We can’t fight it or what we are told. And why is the letter “W” called “double-U” even though it’s obviously double “V”? Why are there grades A, B, C, D, F? Why is there no E? Where’s the logic?

We’re truly surrounded by illogical behaviours, day in day out. Why must women’s mouths be open when applying mascara? That’s almost some bizarre rule and it makes no sense. Why do we wet our toothbrushes before applying toothpaste? Force of habit I guess because it contains no logic whatsoever.

Ever ask yourself why we park in driveways and drive in parkways? Why do “fat chance” and “slim chance” mean the same thing? Why is there no egg in eggplant nor ham in hamburger; neither apple nor pine in pineapple? Does it make any sense that you fill in a form by filling it out? Zilcho senso.

Why is it called a “building” when it is already built? If man evolved from monkeys and apes, why do we still have monkeys and apes? Something’s not adding up. Why do they sterilize needles used for lethal injections? Great question with zero answer.

This is fun and can go on all day but the point is the human race is running on fumes of common sense and with minimal logic. I’m not saying don’t strive for change. I’m just saying it’s not hard to see why we run in these circular cycles, banging our heads at every turn and never getting free. The world is a funny place.
