“Everything Illuminated.”

The unknown is a bitter pill
A black hole sucking me to its core
Without leverage nor balance
I am free falling inside the void
Towards this unoccupied dwelling
A piece of destinies puzzle
Though shrouded in black
But in alignment with my heart
With speculation flowing like the tears from my eyes.

From the bottom of this hole, I’m looking up
With everything illuminated now
Past and present out of the shadows
But what matters now is where I am going
Because where I stand is on solid ground
And even though the vultures swoop
Dipping down for tastes of me
This courtship with life lifts up my feet
Propelling me on a journey I’ve not yet been.
