Countless are the ways in which I love you
Nearly two hundred poems
Though some penned with a heart of glass
All of them of the same aroma:
That I love you so.
It is evident my mind is forever made up
And I will tell you once again
In the battle field of my life
There is a peace that aligns my heart and my soul:
That I love you so.
I have put to rest my past when I never knew your name
Now it’s always on my lips
Bursting the seams of my heart
In total abandonment to all but one sentiment:
That I love you so.
Forever and a day is all that I ask of you
Nothing less but most likely more
Because I know not to be without
You are everything to me and so I must declare:
That I love you so.
