“With Nothing Left.”

From waking to slumber
I am crushed to dust
The moment I crack a smile
I am reduced to ash
When I climb the mountain
I am struck by lightning
When I hold your heart
I am dismembered by rejection.

I am living with a broken heart
A walking, talking chronic bleed
I am bleeding out in front of you
And you do nothing
Your own blood line screaming out
And you do nothing
Pools of life I leave in my wake
On the way to eternity with nothing left.
